At Beaumont we pride ourselves on the extra-curricular activities we offer our children. Learning beyond the classroom is vital and we encourage all children to participate fully in the activities and clubs that we offer.
We work closely with Outside agencies to offer clubs that children would not normally experience within a primary school setting such as Fencing, Drama and other exciting activities.
We offer clubs before and after school everyday for all children. The vast majority of these clubs are free and allow our children to have rich and varied experiences that they may not get.
At Beaumont we offer a wide range of musical opportunities. Working alongside Scatty Music Service, each class participates in a wider opportunities project during the year. Year 6 have recently completed a musical technology unit using iPad technology to enhance their musical compositional skills.
We offer a wide range of sporting opportunities to all children throughout the year. We are very lucky at Beaumont to have a dedicated Sports Coach who works at Beaumont Primary school. Mr Clemmett works alongside specialist coaches, each class has the opportunity to develop their sporting techniques across all sports. We also work alongside specialist coaches to offer before and after school clubs. Children at Beaumont are regularly entered into competitions too such as football, cross country running and swimming galas.
In addition to drama objectives taught within the English Curriculum, Year 6 perform an end of year show. At Christmas time, our Early Years and Key Stage One children perform a Christmas Show.
We also have Helen O’Grady Drama Academy run a Drama Club for all ages on a Friday after school.
Our free communication app allows us to provide parents with instant access to our important messages and up to date school information.
