Beaumont School Curriculum
EYFS and Key Stage 1
At Beaumont Primary School, Reception, Years 1 and 2 are happy, stimulating and exciting places to learn where there are boundless opportunities for children to flourish and shine.
Children are taught in large, bright, airy rooms which ensure plenty of space for creative, practical, lively activities. Children are taught by highly experienced and well qualified teachers and teaching assistants who are always prepared to go above and beyond.
Throughout Beaumont, we celebrate the individuality of our children. In an environment, where there is a real sense of security and belonging, our children can truly be themselves. We look for hidden talents, provide a more rounded holistic education and together with our outstanding pastoral care, our boys and girls flourish and grow in confidence.
We aim for children to leave Year 2 as happy, excited, secure learners ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that Key Stage Two will bring.
Key Stage 2
Within KS2 at Beaumont Primary School, we build on the excellent learning foundations created within EYFS and KS1. We deliver an exciting and relevant curriculum which endeavours to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve to the best of their ability.
We enhance the children’s learning through educational visits and visitors linked to our topics and to further embed their learning.
We encourage our pupils to become independent learners and thinkers and equip them for their next stage of learning at secondary school.
Working together as a team, alongside our parents, ensures that we get the most from our children’s education.
Our free communication app allows us to provide parents with instant access to our important messages and up to date school information.
